FAQ

How many students per class?

  • Classes are usually limited to 25 students. However, some classes may have one or two additional students due to extenuating circumstances. There is typically one teacher and one or two teaching assistants in each class, giving us a ratio of around 10 to 1 in each class. Our Kinder and first-grade classes have one teacher and two or three teaching assistants for 20 to 25 students.

What are the school hours?

  • School hours are from 9AM to 3PM. Morning Care starts at 8AM and After School Care ends at 6PM

Is there an extra charge for Morning Care or After School Care?

  • Morning Care is free.
  • After School Care begins at 3PM to 6PM at a rate of $10/hour. The rate is prorated every 15 minutes.
    • There is a late fee of $1/minute after 6PM

Is lunch provided?

  • Hot lunch will be available to purchase daily.
  • We will also have a Snack Shack available during breaks and lunch with beverages and assortment of snacks.

Are we accredited?

  • Yes, we are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)

Can my tuition be prorated if I leave for vacation?

  • We offer our program in 2-week increments to best suit your summer vacation plans. Each week is different and unique with 1 field trip every other week. Unfortunately, we do not prorate or refund any tuition for missed days.

Is there a sibling discount?

  • Yes, there is a discount for signing up multiple siblings. A second child will receive a $50 discount, and a third child will receive a $75 discount. Each child after the third will also receive a $75 discount.

What will my child need on the first day of school?

  • We provide all necessary materials including curriculum, textbooks, and school supplies.
  • We recommend sending your student with a water bottle and snacks.

Is there homework?

  • No, we do not assign any homework. Our goal is to introduce new topics while still maintaining a fun and light atmosphere.

What if I have questions on my student's progress?

  • Teacher email addresses will be provided on or around the 1st day of class. You may email them directly or schedule a conference after school.

What is the refund policy?

  • The $400 deposit (per child) is non-refundable, but if you have to cancel after signing up, you may apply $350 to next year’s fees. The $50 processing fee is non-refundable. After the program begins, NO REFUNDS will be given.  Parents have until June 1, 2024, to decide if they would like to cancel.

    After June 1, 2024, the $400 is completely Non-Refundable.  ANY FEES PAID ABOVE $400 WILL BE REFUNDED BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT.

  • After the program begins, NO TUITION REFUNDS will be provided. Any additional add-on such as unused pre-paid lunches can be refunded to your original from of payment.
